Lori Lamont is not a licensed therapist, psychologist, or health care practitioner. In our EFT sessions, we will employ techniques that focus on the energy system of the body.  

During these EFT sessions, which may include Matrix Reimprinting and/or Meta Consciousness techniques, we will work on the energy system to help address various concerns. It’s important to note that these energy methods are intended to complement, not replace, medical or psychological care. Although both Matrix Reimprinting and EFT training can be beneficial, they do not serve as clinical therapy or psychotherapy and do not substitute for medical, psychiatric, or psychological care.  

The methods we will utilize include, but are not limited to, EFT/Tapping, Matrix Reimprinting, Somatic Trauma Processing, Polyvagal Toning, and Meta Consciousness. While emerging scientific studies suggest positive outcomes from these techniques, individual responses can vary greatly. Each person experiences different results during EFT sessions.  

Lori Lamont does not diagnose illnesses or diseases, nor does she prescribe medications. I agree not to discontinue or alter any medications I am currently taking while working with Lori Lamont without first consulting my doctor.

I understand that EFT sessions and Matrix Reimprinting are therapeutic approaches that intentionally engage with past lived experiences and emotional memory. 

I recognize that EFT and Matrix Reimprinting procedures may bring unresolved and distressing memories, along with related emotions and physical sensations, into my awareness. It is possible that disturbing material may continue to surface after a session and require further work. 

Since this approach involves revisiting past experiences, emotional activation may occur. This is an expected part of the process and does not indicate harm. The goal is not to create distress, but to effectively work with emotional memory while ensuring nervous system safety. 

This therapeutic work is guided by the neurobiological process of memory reconsolidation. When a memory is intentionally and gently reactivated during EFT sessions, it becomes temporarily open to updating. During this window, new information, safety, and regulation can be integrated by the nervous system. As a result, the memory may reconsolidate with a reduced emotional charge or threat response. 

It's important to note that memory reconsolidation does not erase memories or change historical events. Instead, it facilitates the release of outdated survival responses, allowing past experiences to no longer dictate present-day reactions in the same manner. 

I understand that the intensity of previously vivid or traumatic memories may diminish or vanish completely. While this response is often considered a benefit, it may negatively impact my ability to provide compelling legal testimony concerning a traumatic incident. 

Any stories or testimonials about Empowerment EFT, Deliberate Manifestation, Meta Consciousness, EFT, or Matrix Reimprinting should not be viewed as a warranty, guarantee, or prediction regarding any outcomes of individuals working with Lori Lamont.

I understand that all information I share regarding my EFT sessions with Lori Lamont is confidential and that no details will be released to any third party without my express written consent, except in the following circumstances:  

When there is imminent risk of danger to myself or another person.  

When there is suspicion that a child or elder is being sexually or physically abused or is at risk of such abuse.  

When a valid court order is issued for session records.  

I give Lori Lamont permission to discuss the details of my EFT sessions with her students, colleagues, and mentors for the purpose of EFT training and supervision, as long as my personal anonymity is strictly protected.

Sessions, including EFT sessions, are not normally recorded. However, if the client is on a device that supports recording during their EFT session on Zoom, they may request recording capabilities. Lori Lamont is not responsible for these recordings; she simply allows clients to record on their devices upon request.

I understand that an EFT session runs for about 55 minutes from the start time. If I arrive late to the appointment, the end time will remain the same. 

I recognize that it is in my best interest to reserve time after the EFT session to integrate what I've learned. 

If I am meeting with Lori Lamont remotely, whether over the phone or computer, I agree to be in a safe and private space throughout the duration of the session. I will not operate machinery during an EFT session.

Refund: No refunds or rescheduling for EFT sessions.

More than 24 hours Prior to Session:

Reschedule: You can opt to reschedule your EFT session by hitting the “change appointment” button at the bottom of your confirmation and reminder emails.

Credit: You can request to transfer your credits to another person or use them in another form such as classes, group tapping, or mentoring sessions.

Refund: A 50% refund will be issued within 10 business days.

Emergency Cancellation: In the event of an emergency, please email Lori Lamont directly at LoriLamont@proton.me to discuss your best options.

Session Packages Purchased Within 90 Days

Credit- You can request to transfer your credits for EFT sessions to another person or use the credit towards EFT training, classes, group tapping, mentoring, etc.  

Refund- 50% refunds are issued within 10 business days.

Session Packages Purchased More Than 90 Days Ago

Credit- You can request to transfer 50% of your credit for EFT sessions to another person or utilize 50% of the credit for EFT training, classes, group tapping, mentoring, etc.

Refund- No refunds are issued beyond 90 days of purchase.

I have thoroughly considered all of the above and have obtained any additional input and/or professional advice I deem necessary or appropriate to make an informed decision before commencing EFT sessions. 

By purchasing a session or session package, each Empowerment EFT client agrees to the terms above.
